PROCESS
BRIEF
To create a short film guided by the unique relationship between dance and visual practice. The central focus of the project is the collaboration itself and the more traditional relationships between film and choreography.
“Fractured audacity, A world not unfamiliar. We slip between our graces; We laugh after we cry, And we cry because we laugh. Yellow is the moment right on the edge; A world not unfamiliar.”
CONCEPT
Four young women are glimpsed at moments of apparent crisis and obvious excess.
The film plays with the consent of reality and insanity that lives in their minds; an impression of anxiety and disturbance gradually emerges within the characters as thoughts accumulate.
